Reliability
All Ethernet ports of the DGS-1510-28LP/ME switch are equipped with built-in protection against static electricity up to 6 kV, which helps protect the device from power surges. In case of power outages, the switch provides an additional connector for connecting a DPS-500A/DPS-500DC backup power supply or a 12 V DC power supply. The switches also support Ethernet Ring Protection Switching technology (ERPS, ITU-T G.8032) , thanks to which the recovery time of the ring after a failure does not exceed 50 ms. In addition, the switch supports port aggregation functionality based on the 802.1AX standard, the use of which allows you to combine several ports into a group, thereby increasing the bandwidth and increasing the fault tolerance of connections to ensure uninterrupted operation and load distribution among multiple network devices.

Triple Play service
The DGS-1510-28LP/ME switch provides a wide range of Layer 2 multicast features, including IGMP/MLD Snooping, Fast Leave and filtering. Support for this functionality provides the opportunity to work with IPTV services, which are gaining popularity and are in increasing demand in the service market every year. Host-based IGMP/MLD Snooping enables multiple IPTV subscribers to connect to a single network interface. ISM VLAN profiles allow users to quickly and easily assign or override predefined settings for multicast subscriber ports. IGMP Authentication support eliminates the possibility of unauthorized IPTV subscriptions by authenticating set-top boxes.

Quality of Service
The DGS-1510-28LP/ME switch supports advanced QoS (Quality of Service) functionality to provide high-quality Triple Play service. Packets are classified based on various header fields or user-defined packet contents, allowing traffic to be prioritized. With Bandwidth Management, providers can determine the level of upstream/downstream bandwidth on a per-port basis in increments of up to 64 Kbps.

Easy to maintain, efficient troubleshooting
The support for advanced OAM (Operation, Administration and Management) functionality implemented in the switch can significantly simplify maintenance, troubleshooting and troubleshooting.
